After the Rain

Stories by Dina Sokal

About the Author

IMG_0448_edited.jpg

Dina Sokal is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. She and her husband, Alan Hirsch, have three children, Lucy, Ann, and Sam, and two grandchildren, Elisheva and Mazzy. Her current hobbies are singing, running, writing and water coloring.

As a child, she read fiction voraciously and dreamed of being a writer. Her favorite librarian, Miss Coughlin found ten books for her to read at every visit to the library.

At night, she’d read in the hallway risking the wrath of her parents. Or, she'd curl up in her favorite rocking chair, blocking out all the commotion from her four brothers, as stories took her to other worlds. And now she’s excited to present to you her first book of stories, After the Rain.
